In order to help our clients provide the best health care for their pets, we work with two great companies that offer payment plans for our services. Veterinary care can be expensive, and in light of economic conditions, we advise our clients to apply to one of these programs to help take the pressure off of unexpected vet bills.
Another great option is Pet Insurance! There are lots of companies out there, so we recommend shopping around to find the best fit for you and your pet. Some examples are Trupanion, Pumpkin, and Embrace. Nationwide is the only insurance company that will cover exotics.
Some insurances cover only non-wellness, some only wellness, and some both! This will determine what your monthly fee is and your deductible, just like with your own health insurance. Some companies cover up to 90% of the bill, which is extremely helpful- especially for unexpected illnesses.
