Veterinarian

Dr. Lauren Scavola attended undergraduate school at Delaware Valley University and received a Bachelors in Animal Science in 2014. She spent her vet-school years on the island of St. Kitts at Ross University, and her clinical year at Mizzou. She graduated and started to practice vet med in October of 2018. As of late September, Dr. Scavola and her husband now own All Creatures! he plan to build a new hospital to increase the amount of patients we are able to treat. This office will be right behind the current one, so we aren’t moving far!

Dr. Lauren Scavola earned her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Delaware Valley University in 2014. She went on to pursue her veterinary degree at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine on the island of St. Kitts, completing her clinical year at the University of Missouri (Mizzou). She began practicing veterinary medicine in October 2018 and brings a deep passion for animal care to everything she does.

As of late September, Dr. Scavola and her husband, Anthony Scavola, are the proud new owners of All Creatures! With a shared vision for growth, they plan to build a brand-new hospital directly behind the current location—allowing them to expand services and treat even more patients while staying close to the community they love.

Dr. Scavola lives in Upper Pittsgrove Township with her husband and their two daughters: Veda Kay (3.5 years old) and Melina Lynn (1 year old). They enjoy the peacefulness of rural life surrounded by farmland—and a full house of beloved pets! At home, Dr. Scavola cares for a yellow-belly pied ball python, a sunglow boa constrictor, and a bearded dragon. Her feline family includes George, a long-haired tabby; Beau, a medium-haired orange tabby; Tina, a calico Sphynx; and Kevin, a short-hair tuxedo. The dog pack features Smoky the Great Dane, Kay the Coconut Retriever from St. Kitts, and Luna the Rottweiler.

Professionally, Dr. Scavola’s interests include surgery, exotic animal medicine, and preventative care. She has a special love for snakes and birds—especially the big ones! Rabbits are also a frequent and favorite part of her caseload. Dr. Scavola enjoys working with rescues and sanctuaries, like Funny Farm in Mays Landing, to help animals that have not had the fairest life be able to be happy and healthy.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Scavola loves to travel and is looking forward to exploring new places with her family, both in the U.S. and abroad. She’s excited to see exotic animals in their natural habitats and to experience the diverse cultures of the world.
