Veterinary Technicians
An avid horseback rider, Veterinary Technician Jennifer Johnson has been part of the All Creatures staff since 2006. Jennifer is a native of Sicklerville, New Jersey, and loves working with exotic pets. At home, she cares for a ball python and a cat named Harley.
Originally from Allamuchy, New Jersey, and pursuing a degree in Business at Rowan University, Ivy Schiesl has always had a love for animals. At home, she has two cats, two mischievous ferrets and a sweetheart of a horse. In her time away from school and work, Ivy can be found camping, reading and improving her disastrous cooking skills.
Alexis Pimpinella is an only child, born and raised in Florida. She moved to New Jersey in 2010, which was first time she saw snow in her life. She loves her car. She began working with animals during high school. She is currently attending school for sonography.
Katie McCarthy is from Williamstown, New Jersey and graduated from Williamstown High School in 2008. She is now taking classes at Camden County College, where she is going to school for Veterinary Technology. Katie has been a big animal lover of all kinds her whole life. She has a Newfoundland Border Collie mix named Kaycee and recently rescued a stray cat named Noel. When not in school or work, she is actively involved in her church doing volunteer work or young ministering.
A native of Pennsylvania, Veterinary Technician Kate Fetterman moved to the Garden State and joined All Creatures staff in 2010. She graduated from Delaware Valley College with a degree in Animal Science with a minor in Business Administration in 2010. Outside of work she is an avid horseback rider and enjoys spending time at the beach.
Lara Dougherty is dedicated to spreading awareness of autism. She worked with autistic children for eight years. However, after working part-time at an emergency veterinary hospital, she grew a love with working with animals. In her spare time she enjoys playing with her nephews and nieces and her 2-year-old Pitbull, Sug.
Lauren Weiss graduated from Kingsway Regional High School in Swedesboro, New Jersey, in 2010. She was a member of the school’s varsity lacrosse team. She is currently a student at Delaware Valley College majoring in Animal Science. She plans to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. She is a member of the Delaware Valley College Lacrosse Club. Lauren resides in Mullica Hill, New Jersey, with her dog Gracie when not at college.
